This fleet, consisting chiefly of capital starships, is the command center of the Imperial Navy. In times of war, the ships of this fleet serve as mobile command posts for the ships of the War and Battle Fleets. In times of peace, these ships are used as diplomatic envoys, establishing first contact and negotiating new treaties with other empires. Also, every ship in this fleet is equipped with self-repairing equipment.

This is the fleet of ships used by the Jade Order, the military intelligence agency of the Imperium. All other information on them is classified.

These ships are living, genetically engineered creatures. They generally have greater range and response times than normal ships. These ships do not have a specific regular function.

The starships of this fleet form the backbone of offensive arm of the Imperial Navy. The main purpose of these ships is to invade and secure hostile enemy territory. This fleet is also equipped with a large number of construction ships so that defensive structures can be quickly built in the systems that are conquered by the Imperium.

This fleet is used to defend the territories of the Imperium from alien attack. Because they do not need to move around a lot, speed and range are not a high priority on these ships. To make up for their lack of mobility, these ships are very heavily armed.

The Battle Fleet is used to bolster the forces of either the War Fleet or the Defense Fleet, depending on the current state of whatever war the Imperium is currently engaged in. These ships are designed to be fast and long ranged so that they can easily reach whatever destination that they need to reach.

These ships are made of an organic substance that was accidentally discovered in an experiment in bio-ship technology. This bio-compound is planted on a normal asteroid and will convert the entire asteroid into a bio-ship in 1-4 months, depending on the size. The ships' hulls are not as strong, but the photosynthetic ships can produce enough energy to sustain themselves almost indefinitely. This has the effect of allowing the ship to remain in deep space for many years before it needs to resupply. Also, the ships have natural intelligence, eliminating the need of a large crew. Unfortunately, only a few hundred of these ships have been grown to date because of the incredible cost and difficulty of manufacturing the bio-compound that gives them life. These ships normally perform scientific missions, such as studying primitive cultures and stellar phenomena.

Although the Zanar'ri were one of the founding races of the Imperium, they still maintain their fleet of warships, separate from the other fleets of the Imperium. The primary function of this fleet is the protection of Zanar Primus. Also, this fleet is in charge of patrolling the space around the Zanar system.

This fleet consists of millions of larger than average fighters. It is not very long ranged and usually performs defensive and patrol duties.
